    Lauren Rankin Realtor Pennsylvania RS358669

Everybody’s Hometown is actually my hometown. I am a 5th generation Delaware County native who grew up in Media, PA, and now lives in Chester County.  I graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Political Science and Communication Studies. My original passion is digital marketing. I started my career helping other real estate agents market themselves through social media and personal branding. Becoming a RealtorⓇ felt like a natural next step.

I love showing my clients not only the house but everything the local community has to offer. I think the combination of these two things really creates that feeling of home.

Outside of real estate, I can be found going on adventures with my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Maggie, and my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Abigail, around the Philadelphia Suburbs.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

How much do I need for a down payment on a home?
The amount you need for a down payment depends on the type of loan and your financial situation. While 20% is a common benchmark, many buyers put down less—some conventional loans allow as little as 3%, and FHA loans require just 3.5%.

    What’s the difference between pre-qualification and pre-approval?
How does my credit score affect my mortgage rate?
What are closing costs, and how much should I expect to pay?
How long does the homebuying process usually take?
Can I buy a home if I’m self-employed or have irregular income?
What’s included in my monthly mortgage payment?

What is a 2-1 buydown, and how does it work?

Who pays for the 2-1 buydown—the buyer, the seller, or the lender?
